My mood while writing this blog: Frustrated!!!!!! |
It used to be that when you shared your pregnancy news with people they said, "Congratulations! How far along are you? When is your due date? Do you know what you're having? How are you feeling?" Now they hesitate and say, "Oh. Make sure you get your H1N1 vaccine." Are you kidding me????? I'm SO SICK of hearing this crap!!! I'm NOT getting the vaccine! Hello! I'm only in my first trimester and ANYTHING in the first trimester is unsafe for baby! My doc even said that the pamphlet that comes with the vaccine says in black and white that the H1N1 vaccine is NOT SAFE for pregnant women, nursing mother, or babies!!! I was curious and looked it up for myself. There it is on the FDA website, buried, but it's there in black and white!!! I don't need someone's opinion of what I should put into my body! I'd be much happier with a simple CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Thursday, 19 Nov First of all, Congratulations to you!!!I, too, am not getting the vaccine... I am 29 weeks pregnant & I really don't think that there has been enough research to warrant getting it. I am staying away from sick people, washing my hands ALL THE TIME and trying to get lots of rest. I don't want to put something in my body when nobody knows whether it will cause problems in the future or not.... People need to mind their own business. You are entitled to make your own decisions!!! amber325 -
