My mood while writing this blog: Blessed

The things you should know.

He’s just over three months old.

He has the most perfect little chin, with the most adorable little dimple.

He has the biggest, bluest eyes you’ve ever seen. When he looks at you, it’s like he’s peering into your soul.

His skin is so soft. I can spend hours just stroking his hand but his head is the best. It’s like silk.

Oh and he’s bald, completely bald. He had some hair when he was born but it’s gone now. I think it will be auburn.

He’s a morning person. He must have got that from you.

He smiles a lot, especially when he first wakes up. He really is a happy baby.

If you stroke the corner of his mouth, you are sure to get a smile.

He loves to suck on his fist and he makes the cutest noises. It’s like his own little language.

He doesn’t cry too often but when he does he sticks his lower lip way out, frowns really hard, and goes “Maaaaaa!”. I try not to laugh but it is so hilarious.

He has the most adorable button nose.

He will only go to sleep if he moving or snuggling.

He loves music.

He likes to dance with me.

He has my mouth.

He doesn’t really look like you when he’s awake but when he’s sleeping…. spitting image.

The innocent parts of you.

The pure parts of you.

The most incredible things about him I cannot even begin to put into words.

It’s the feeling I get when I think of him.

It’s the pull in my gut when he smiles at me.

It’s watching him nurse.

It’s the way he watches me while he’s nursing.

The hopes and dreams I have for him.
