Write a new blog
With life being so crazy at times we forget how blessed we are even in the hardest of times. I say this because about a month ago I lost over half of my income, found out about some secrets that my husband was keeping about our finances, and realized I had to break some promises to my daughters. You see Clare and Kim were going to be registered for dance this year but with our current situation I had to tell them it was a no go. They handled it well for a 6 and 4 year old and I started to debate getting a 2nd job.
While looking through old posts I noticed that I had written about saving money back in 2009 and here we are 3 years later and still where we left off. I have applied for a new job and have an interview Friday. I'm excited and a bit sad with this since I've been working from home for so long it will be odd working out of the house but in the same way I'm excited to get the "baby stuff" out of the house and have a solid family unit without having to answer to my child care families. But my heart breaks having to possibly say good bye.
With this financial burden I have been forced to realize the small things till count. I have 2 healthy children who are doing amazing. Clare starts 1st grade tomorrow and Kimberly starts Pre School on September 1st. My husband is still loving, caring, and supportive of me. Our 7th anniversary was on the 14th and the good lord above knows that it was a hard year for us. But we made it and we aren't about to give up now.
With life getting to me I've stopped writing something that I've enjoyed doing since I was little. And now that I could possibly have more time on my hands I'm looking forward to getting back into the routine of writing again. I'm glad that God sent me this test of faith to remind me that he is still here and he loves us even when we feel like all is lost, he opens a new chapter one that we may or may not have seen coming but well worth everything we are put through to get to the reason for the conflicts, heart ache, and sadness.
