02-4-2009 - Kimberly\'s B-day plans

My mood while writing this blog: AWESOME!!!

Well Kimberly will be 2 years old on the 16th. I can't believe how fast my little girl has grown up. She's talking, singing songs, and doing sign language. She love's singing, being read to, and cuddling. She's potty training herself but still hasn't figured out #2 goes in the potty too. But for not wanting to start till she was 2 1/2 I'm proud of her. She love's sleeping in her toddler bed and loves to go places.

Monday I found out that one of my day care mom's can't afford day care anymore so with that said we will be cutting my income in 1/2 at the end of next week. Its going to be tough because that mean that over the summer or most of it anyway I will have no income since the one day care child that will be here is a teacher's child. I'm not worried because I do have a baby coming in July but God will watch over us and like I said I'm not worried.

Kimberly is going to have a small close friends and family party. I think as of now its just going to be grandparents from both sides, Clarissa, Kimberly, and then of course Quentin and myself. Her birthday is on a Thursday and I have dance :( so We are having the party on Saturday!!! I'm very exited about what all is going into her party. I'm going to make her an apron (I hope) and use material that I already have. I'm also going to give her a book that I bought on sale for $1.00 I think. I'm making her cake and frosting LIKE ALWAYS!!! I have alot of left over balloons form years before for both girls so we are going to make a home made pin-ay-ta and that will be a fun game and mess to clean up!!! I think total I'm only going to be spending no more than $10.00 I'm very proud of that. I even made her a Happy Birthday banner that has her name and her birthday on it. I really like it. She gets to color it. I also made one for Clarissa too.

I don't think that saving money is hard it just makes you appreciate what you do have and when you get those things you want you love them SO MUCH MORE!!! That’s what I hope to pass down to my children. Its not what you have its how you use it.
