13-4-2009 - Easter

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Easter went great. We usually go to my grandma and Aunts house in IL but since the baby shower is next month we decided to save some money and only make one trip. The girls had a great time on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday 11, 2009 they had an Easter egg hunt at the local pool. It was outside though. The girls didn't get much but that was fine by me!!! I was hoping the Clarissa would get a puzzle because she LOVES to put puzzles together. She did find some cute things though. Kimberly wasn't feeling that well because of her mouth infection. She has had a rough week and her gums are bleeding really bad. I don't remember what its called that she has BUT its something that comes and goes and there is no medication for it :( Any way back to Saturday. After the hunt we met the Easter Bunny and the girls just loved him. We also go to see and pet real bunnies. We got home and the girls were hungry so I quickly made lunch and then laid them down for their naps. After nap time (letting Kimberly sleep a little later) We headed out to my in-laws for another Easter Egg hunt and meet Landon (my sister-in-laws boyfriends son) They had a great time and we were there till bed time.

Easter Morning- We got the girls into the bath since we got home so late the night before we didn't have time. I was so tired because I was up till 2:00 a.m. with Kimberly because she couldn't sleep she was in so much pain. The girls looked so beautiful. I got Clarissa's dress on E-bay for $10.00 and free shipping. I got Kimberly's dress on Sale for $5.99 My parents got the girls Easter shoes since Quentin and I were worried we wouldn't be able to afford Spring/Summer Sunday Shoes. We got to church and didn't have Sunday school. The girls sat nicely with Quentin, my self, and my mom. My dad was up front. The Sermon that was delivered was BEAUTIFUL I really enjoyed it. I had to take Kimberly to the nursery because she was just in so much pain :( We give her Motrin and it helps some but doesn't take all the pain away. I had a solo and the girls did great when I did that!!! After church we went down to the basement for brunch. The girls got their Easter gifts from my mom and dad (mama Mary and Papa Ray) They just loved that as well.

The church also did an Easter egg hunt for the children of our church. It was so cute to see them running around in their Easter dresses!!! We came home and all three of us girls took naps lol. It was a wonderful day to remember what Christ did for our sins.
