14-4-2009 - Spring is HERE!!!

My mood while writing this blog: HaPpY

I remember when I was a little girl we had a strawberry patch, and one spring a mommy bunny had her babies there. We all got to pet them and it was so neat I have a picture of me when I was little that I hope to add to this blog if I can find it. I always thought it was neat but guess what I think we have a mommy bunny out back that might be having babies. I saw this dark shadow under the girl's slide and I thought is that a bunny and then it looked like its ears moved. At nap time I'm going to go out and get a closer look.

Also something neat that we saw was a squirrel dig up her nut and ate it. The girls won't stop talking about it! It happened right outside the bathroom window so they had a front row seat! I talked to them about how she hid her nuts and then she goes back and finds them. After she finished her lunch we watched her go and follow her trail she left when she was hiding them I wanted to get the camera but didn't want to scare her :) I can't wait to check out the bunny situation lol, and find that picture.
