| 17-6-2009 - SUMMER thoughts | My mood while writing this blog:blessed |
I have been very busy with so many things this summer. Its so nice to have a van so I can take all the kids places. We have been enjoying our summer and I've even had a few days off here and their which makes me wish I could be a SAHM!!! I'm really hoping that in the next 4- 4 ½ years this dream will come true.
I've been in shock that last few weeks of how detailed Clarissa's stories are. She doesn't leave a single detail out. She is so smart and I feel that I don't allow her to grow as much as she needs/ wants to. I have been challenging her lately and noticed how much she enjoys that. I'm so happy that we finally understand each other. What an amazing little girl God gave me.
Kimberly is doing wonderful, we were quite worried because her tantrums were much louder, longer, and more frequent than Clarissa's ever where. I realized I kept babying her and then realized I need to get stern and tell her its not going to work. She's doing SO MUCH BETTER I have some days without a single tantrum and that's amazing from where we used to be!
I have the girls in several activities this summer swimming lessons, summer reading program, creative classes, music class, and I have a neighborhood soccer team. There are several different ages and they play once a week. They mainly just kick the ball to each other and try to make goals but its something fun for all the ages to do together. The girls and I are going to do a bake sale this year as well. I'm doing it to help raise money for our local church activities. I'm in charge of the youth ministries and so I do allot of out reach towards children. I'm hoping to get several families and children involved and hope that its a great way to bring more families into our or even a church family.
