21-6-2009 - Saving money

My mood while writing this blog: exited

I'm really exited about getting our first of seven credit cards paid off NEXT MONTH. Its going to be an early 5 year anniversary gift to Quentin and myself. I've been thinking of different ways to save money and have really enjoyed thinking about what kind of memories I will be creating for my children while doing so.

My parents had a cloths line but took it down several years ago. Nothing was wrong with it but since my mom’s health went down hill she knew she couldn't do it. Quentin and I had wanted one for the spring and summer months. We got that put up today and it looks great. I'm very exited to use it Tuesday because it's suppose to be 95 degree's outside.

I bought some seed packets for pumpkins. I thought that if I grew as many as possible form the packet then I could give them away to family's who are hurting in this economy. I think I have a perfect place to plant them and know that they need lots of sunlight and water. I'm so exited to see how that all turns out.

I also had a surprise fill in child and am going to be getting an extra $100 I'm going to put all of that towards the next credit card. I feel blessed by God that everything is going to work out and be ok. I really hope to have the next credit card paid off or mostly paid off by December. We will have to work really hard but hopefully things will work out for the best.
