| 16-10-2009 - Kimberly and Prayers | My mood while writing this blog:a little of everything but not angry or mad |
Today Kimberly is 30 months old. Its hard to believe that in 6 months my baby girl is going to be 3. She is working on potty training and has her good days and bad. She loves counting and singing songs. We are working on colors but she still thinks everything is Pink and Yellow (They are her favorite so she says) We plan to take her to a Pre Pre K place here in town when she is 3. It will teach her that mommy can drop her off and pick her up and she will be ok. They will also work on her colors, shapes, and other things to pre pare her for Pre K. I'm looking forward to seeing how much she changes in the next 3 months. Now that she's 2 1/2 we are also going to start working on her name. Learning the letter that go in it and in what order. I have even made up a song to help her remember. I'm proud of her and can't wait to see how she changes is the next 6 months.
My dad is in the hospital they thought they knew what was wrong but then after running more tests they finally think they are 100% sure of what is going wrong. He has surgery at 1:00p.m. and so if you could keep him in your prayers that the doctors are able to get things taken care of. They are removing her gallbladder (spelling) Thank you for keeping him in your prayers he is planning to be home at the earliest tonight latest tomorrow night. He's been in the hospital since Monday and in pain for a week now.
Clarissa is doing great in school and her teacher said that she knows more at the beginning of the year than most Pre K students that made us (Quentin and myself) very proud. We have some things to work on with her but other than that she's doing pretty good.
