27-11-2009 - Christmas shopping...

My mood while writing this blog: Blessed and Happy

So today we started working on our tree and realized we need more lights so we are going to get more tomorrow and then finish the tree tomorrow night! The girls are so exited about hanging their stockings, decorating the tree, and doing all that fun things that come along with the Christmas holiday.

We are going to make ornaments this year too I'm so exited to see what the girls create! I'm working on Christmas shopping and we have our budget and what ever is left over will be put into the girl's savings accounts. That way they each get their full amount of money in some way. My Grandma (their Great Grandma) and Aunts gave each of the grand kids $25 so I got Kimberly a pair of new snow boots and Clarissa is going to get a fishing set so that she can go fishing with her daddy :o) We are going to be getting them kids camera's and that will be their "big gift" this year. I hope to get them a barbie doll, puzzles, few games, and other things that they are interested in at this point in time. In their stocking will be a candy treat, coins, and a few other little things. I'm so exited to have another simple Christmas.

Clarissa has a Christmas concert on December 17th and she has a speaking line. I'm so exited to see how she does. She gets a little nervous speeking in front of a crowd but I know that she will do GREAT!!! We have been working on her lines and is not to long but not to short. SO EXITED! Hopefully I can video tape it and possilbe post it :o)
