22-2-2010 - Kids update February 22nd

My mood while writing this blog: Blessed and Happy

Valentines day went smooth and we enjoyed it together as a family. I was going to post pictures in a slideshow BUT the site I usually use is not letting me upload pictures so I need to find a new site to make my slideshows at. Quentin got me a candle that smells like the beach. I LOVE IT it’s a vacation I can take by lighting a candle and its PERFECT. The girls and I made him a cute valentine and I have it posted on FB but I will upload it onto here.

We had Clarissa's mid school year conferences and she has improved on so much and doing very well. The teachers said that she picks up on patterns and instructions perfectly. They also told me that she’s a wonderful friend to her classmates. At home she is learning her home phone # and how to write it. She knows how to write all her letters and is now working on making works. I'm VERY proud of her and she should be heading to Kindergarten in the Fall. I'm so happy and exited for her to enter BIG GIRL SCHOOL!

Kimberly is now able to spell her first name K-i-m-b-e-r-l-y. I sing a song with her that helps. She also knows she's going to be 3 in April. She's very exited about going to "school" I'm going to home school her till she's ready for pre school when she's 4. Things she will learn is how to recognize and write her letters both lower and upper case. She will learn to write her name (first and last) we will continue to do colors and shapes but she knows most of those already. We will put shapes together to make objects! I'm so exited and am getting thing ready.

I'm happy that I'm getting rid of one of my day care families that have been giving me problems and I replaced them with a part time child I will have 4-5 hours a day and only 4 days a week. I'm VERY happy about that and I will have him threw the summer as well. I plan to work for now till our debt is gone then take a year or so off and enjoy my children, field trips, and being a house wife but then plan to get a part time job while the kids are in school, but I SO ENJOY working form home for now and LOVE the families I'm working with!
