05-2-2009 - Week 10

My mood while writing this blog: so-so

Haven't posted a blog in a while, so I figured I would. The health department still has not shown up so I continue to sit in an office full of cigar and cigarette smoke. I just pray every day that my baby isn't be harmed by it...although everything I read tells me it probably is so that makes me worry. They will be here eventually though, and I'm sure my boss will know it was me who called and there will be hell to pay. It is illegal though, so he can't really blame me.

I am back together with my boyfriend, and so far things have been going well. He has been very sweet and also very helpful. He cooks dinner every night and does laundry. I have been so tired and lazy so that has been awesome to be able to rest. I just hope we can go on like this and not have any more major problems.

My belly is growing! I posted a pic that I took a few days ago. I just wonder why some women show high up and some lower? Isn't the baby always way down there? I wonder what causes that....or if the wives tale is true that it's probably a girl. I am feeling contractions (minor) a few times a day, and starting to get the round ligament pain...fun (not!). There are so many feelings I have forgotten from when I was pregnant before. I am already finding it very hard to get comfortable at night. My belly just feels like it's stretching when I lay on either side, and then there is the hip pain. Ugh. Soon I am going to get one of those memory foam mattress toppers to see if that helps.

I should be hearing back from my caseworker soon about my pregnancy medicaid. Then I will finally be able to make an appointment and find out how baby is doing. I can't wait! I feel like I am so far behind everybody else with that. At least I should be able to see more with my u/s...so I am looking forward to that! :o)
