01-7-2009 - Doctor's Appointment

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

I had another doctor's visit yesterday. I am concerned because my OB never communicates I have to ask her questions if I want to know anything. For example the baby heart rate...she does not wipe off the gel or gives me my measurement either. To say the least it really pisses me off. I have great insurance and she is being paid 100% because my husband work within the network the reason I am stating this is to say I received better care when I was uninsured. I am now weighing in at 154 and the baby's heart rate was 160 (had to pry that out of her). I think this is just how she is I could hear her kinda with the other patients as well. I feel so unattended. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yea I have a Dr alot like that and he always makes sure to ask me if I have any ?'s which is fine but he is just like yours and never tells me the heartrate or my weight I have to ask!

My Dr. Is the exact same way. I tried to change Dr's but I'm from a small town and no other Dr's are taking new patience. It really sucks. So I just make sure I study up and know what I should be asking and take a paper full of questions in everytime because if I don't I won't be told a thing. Have you tried to find a different Dr?

there are alot of doctors out there like that. so i hate to say it but your going to have to keep asking question about everything all the time if you want to know.. some times my doctor tells me and sometimes she doesnt doesnt really bother me much cause if there was something wrong she would say something then. right? you only have to put up with your dr for likee 22 weeks right not much time left really.
