19-3-2009 - Dr. appt\'s

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I went to see the dr. on Monday. My fiance finally got to go!! He is a firefighter and was working all the other appt's. He heard the heartbeat live! and he couldn't stop smiling. I was worried he wouldn't like the dr. as his mother had gone with me the other times and she told him she didn't like the guy. She makes me so mad sometimes with her indecisions. If my fiance says he didn't like something, she doesn't. If he says he does, then she does. She's one of THOSE...In any case, he did like my dr. He asked if he can help deliver and the dr. couldn't tell him yes officially but gave him a wink.

We took blood for the triple screening test. They haven't gotten back the results yet but I am already scheduled for a level 2 u/s next Monday and an amnio IF that u/s shows anything to be concerned about. Let's hope not! I do not want an amnio! I find out the sex then too and we can't wait! I want a little girl for him, he only has boys.

I felt my little butterfly last week and several times this week. I find if you lay down on your back, rub your belly and just take deep breaths and relax, you'll feel it. Good luck and I'll keep you posted!
