| 25-3-2009 - It's a GIRL!!! |  My mood while writing this blog:excited |
We went to the dr. Monday. I had to have the amnio after all due to family history. It wasn't so bad. They also told me to stay home for 2 days! That's always nice.
When we saw the u/s on tv, hubby yells out, "that's a penis!!" the tech told him to hold on, nope, it's a GIRL! You should have seen dad's face! He only has boys and the idea of a little girl made him sweat! It was too cute. She's cute as a button. Then, they told me to have the amnio and I cried!! Daddy held my hand and things worked out. I had no leakage, no cramping, nothing. I felt like a big baby but I was nervous!! They didn't see any soft markers for Down's or anything so we all feel I'm safe. Whew!
We get married this Saturday so wish me luck!!!
The news came back from the dr. that we do NOT have Down's or any other issues. Thank God!! Things are great, I feel as big as a house and happy. Hope you all are doing as well.

Congrats! on finding out your having a girl how precious :) My husbund and I are hoping for a lil baby girl ourselves we have a 2 yr old son so were thinking a baby sister would be nice but were suppose to try and find out this Saturday while your getting married sooo...exciting! I wish you a beautiful day and much happiness on your wedding and after.

Yay!! I'm super happy for you! What did the little parts look like? We're still hoping for a boy, but we won't find out for a few more weeks. I don't have a really strong feeling either way. The Dr told 80% boy at our last visit, but everyone keeps telling me it can appear to be a little boy, but it turns out being a girl. I'm not buying anything just yet. Well congrats on your wedding!! Enjoy it!!

Congrats. Can I ask what your heartbeat reading was? They say if it's over 140 its a girl, and under 140 a boy but im trying to gather info from people having girls so I can weigh up my chances of having a girl x
