06-5-2009 - Dr. Appt. May 4th & other tidbits

My mood while writing this blog:

We went back to the specialist for a followup. They performed another u/s and she looked great! She is actually measuring 24 w and 1 d ,when I was 23w and 6 days. She's ahead of schedule. My last baby was 9.1 so I'm kind of praying she isn't too big!! He released me to my reg. OBGYN. Yeah!!

I feel great...have gained about 16lbs. but sleeping like crap. Ugh, that's the worst. Sex is still fun except we only have 2 positions at our disposal. I'm always "horny" LOL and he is laughing at me but in a good way. We joke that with all the sex we're having, we'll end up pregnant! HA! Gotta keep your sense of humor right??

His ex-wife is pregnant by IVF! I'm so very happy for her as when she found out WE were preggo, she kind of got jealous and a little freaky. Now, she will be too preoccupied with hers to worry about giving us stress. She's a nice woman, I really like her, but she has her moments. I'm keeping things exciting for her, giving her advice, sending little articles on babies, jokes, etc. I figure it takes less effort to keep her happy than the tremendous effort it takes to be mean or hateful. "Happy Humans" is my motto!!

I go to my reg dr. on May 13th. I love how they schedule you, you wait for like an hour, and it only takes them 7 minutes to get you out of there. He's in and he's out. Couldn't I just video conference my appts??? LOL

LOL, "Happy Humans" is a great motto--way to deal with that situation! :o) Glad you and your little girl are doing well. I know what you mean about the quick appointments...a little annoying, but oh well. Take care!

I'm glad all is well!! My little man is measuring big every time I go in too. I hope he's not huge when it's time for D-Day. I gained 8 pounds last month which I'm trippin on a little bit. Everyone keeps telling me it's healthy, you're pregnant, etc... but 2 pounds a week for 4 weeks is not healthy. I've got to watch myself a little bit better. Anyway, I'm glad you get to go back to your regular OBGYN! That's Awesome!!

Glad to here things are moving along nicely for you :o) I have been dealing with a lot of stress but my body feels pretty good, especially now that I started physical therapy. I am around the same weight gain as you maybe a little more, depends on the day LOL And the sex thing, that is so funny. Jason said to me last night with a little giggle, "gosh you are getting big and uncomfortable aren't you" because he could tell I was struggling to roll around on the bed! LOL
