So little Lily is 5 weeks and 1 day old! She is starting to smile and can turn over from her front to back. She did this last week when she was angry! lol I had mentioned before that iwas worried about my breast milk, and I think the problem is that I just have never made that much milk. I mean when my milk comes in, if I even leak at all, it is only about a quarter size. But anyways, I've been supplementing with soy formula. I nurse her like I have before, and in the morning afternoon and night I give her little 2 oz. bottles of the soy formula, and she has been happy as a lark! As far as my scary weekend is concerned......... We took all three children up to Cumberland MD. to a bluegrass festival for the weekend. This included camping for 3 nights! Well Lily was fabulous, she LOVES camping. Well the second day we were there, a horrible storm comes from nowhere. It was so bad it started to hail, and there were 60 MPH winds. I thought we were going to have a tornado come through, but apparently hail is not uncommon in the mountains. So anyways, our tent was demolished and our canopy was thrown about 20 feet from our site. All of our belongings were soaked. Luckily before the tent collapsed we were able to book it to the truck, but I got hit with hail so my arm is a bit bruised. But the kids were wrapped up in blankets so they were fine. Nobody at the festival was seriously injured which is a miracle. Since everything was soaked we ended up leaving early the next day. I'm so glad that my family made it back in one piece!
P.S. We had taken our baby swing with us, and it was directly in the rain, and it still works!!!!
I also managed to save our digital camera, camcorder, and my husbands Bible, when I ran back to the tent :0)
