Hi Friends, heres an update. I went to a New Doctor for my spotting and found out I have a cervical polyp the size of a cherry that is bleeding. They did an ultrasound and found a gestational sac only. I had my Hcg levels done and here they are as follows. On Sunday at the E.R they were 699. On Tuesday at my Dr. office they were 1750 and on Thursday they were 3200. My progesterone is 15. My question is this, my Hcg from tuesday to thursday didnt quite double, should I be worried about that? I'm frustrated because signs of miscarriage are spotting...... Which I've been doing this whole pregnancy!!! I have another ultrasound on the 13th at 11:30am. I guess I will know more then, I just hate the waiting game..... I'd rather have the 2ww. So sorry you have this worry! I really hope the next u/s shows that everything is ok. I think your HCG numbers are good though from what I've read

I was told that I have a polyp as well and a cyst on my right ovary, my doc said that it will cause bleeding after every doc appointment with her and if I have intercourse, other than that, she doesn't seem too concerned about it. I never had my HCG levels checked.

I don't really know about HCG levels as I never took more than one blood test and the doctor here wouldn't even listen for a heartbeat until 12 weeks. Same with my old OB too. 12 weeks. if they say the bleeding is from the polyp though I would believe them and try not to stress although that is difficult in itself. Don't worry momma I will pray for you..

good luck with everything. how far along would you be now? at my 7 week appt they were able to see the heartbeat but only with a vaginal ultrasound. and with my first two kids i bled like i was on my period for the first month. it looks like your levels are steadily increasing so that at least is a good thing. try not to stress to much. will pray for you

With my second one my doctor told me that they dont usually see a heartbeat until week 8 but in all honesty I dont have any advice to give you except sit tight until tuesday and take life a day at a time. I know thats hard to do but its your only option.

I know that you have probably heard that it is very early to be able to "see" anything on the ultrasound, so that is a distinct possibility. I don't know much about the hcg levels, other than the fact that rising is a good sign. I know it is frustrating, but I don't know what else even a new doctor could do at this point...all I can tell you is that we are all here to support you,!
