I was induced with both my girls. With Dana I got induced with no dilation 50% effacement..she did not want to come out. I was induced on my due date. 36 hours later there she was. With Emma I was induced 2 days early I was dilated to a 4 when i went in so there was some progress 9 hours later there she was so I think she was quicker and would have been on my own too..I did not feel contractions with Emma yet i got to the 4 so who knows? Not much longer either way though huh? Seems like it is just flying by right? Did for me too..

My first 2 were 3 days over my 3rd was induced and my 4th was 10 days over so im hoping that this 1 decides to come a little earlier, with each of my pregnancies ive gotten more and stronger braxton hicks especially towards the end, my last pregnancy they became somewhat painful and i would get them everytime i sat down it would drive me nuts thinking is this it then to be 10 days over was very frustrating.

I hear that you go sooner with your second but Brennan sure didnt want to show his face. I was dilated to 3 forever. I had him at 39 weeks and 2days. I dont think I would have went on my own. Was you induced with Paxton? I was induced with all of mine including the one I lost so maybe that has something to do with it.

I wish I could give you the answer you would probably like here...but I actually was in labor the day of my scheduled c-section with the first (at 39 weeks) and NO WHERE NEAR going in to labor when I had my c-section with Mason at 39 weeks. I think it just depends...there is no rhyme or reason to it though!!

Hi all,
I was wondering if you go sooner with your second? I have been having irregular contractions and alot of braxton hicks lately. I went to 39 weeks with my daughter but I dont remember having contractions this early. They have no pattern but man do they hurt!!!! I have an appointment this Friday but I just wanted to know your imput! Hope youre having a great week. Take care ladies, Marny
