22-12-2009 - DH felt the baby for the first time

My mood while writing this blog: Awesome!

Hey guys,

So my last doctor's appointment fell on my DH's birthday and I was sure he was feeling a bit scared about the whole deal. He was like....umm i don't want anything bad to happen....it will be all because of me...

Silly him....he always over thinks. Anyways, the appointment was great...we saw bubby and boy has he grown! My little baby boy was looking soooo good (touchwood). We saw his four chambered heart too, umbilical cord was also in great shape. So all in all it was good but we didnt get a U/S pic as my doc was in hurry....so a lil sad abt that :(

Also, since past few weeks I have been pestering DH to put his hand on my belly and try to feel the baby kick....but my bubby never puts on a show for DH :p

So all the time it would be ....blank....plain old belly breathing up and down.....and right after he removes his hand i'll get one kick from bubs! So yesterday night we were laying down and bubs was pretty active. So I told my hubby....."you wanna feel the baby?"

So DH put his hand on my belly...just around the belly button and "bump" there was a kick. It was soo amazing to see my DH's face...he said "omg...I felt that....that was real!" and I was smiling saying see see....i told you.

He really felt good...i could tell.....so this morning when I was making breakfast...DH was like patting my belly saying hi to lil bubs....maybe he is bonding with bubby.

So this was the day when my DH fell his baby kick for the first time :)

I am soo in love with the two men in my life ;)
