06-2-2010 - Week 32 update

My mood while writing this blog: So far so good

Hope you all are doing well.

The weeks are going by smoothly...er...actually not so smooth....my belly has become really huge for starters....and that affects my back......i just realized how much my back can hurt!!.

Total weight gain at this point is 18-20 pounds. So feeling huge :)

Last week I had my bi-monthly appointment. Doc is not doing u/s anymore so didn't get to see bubby :( ...she has just started measuring my fundal length. So at the start of week 32 I was measuring 31cms. which is 75 percentile .....so she said the baby is measuring normal. Also she hears the heartbeat with a doppler.

However I personally think that u/s measurements are the most reliable and accurate ones. Maybe next time I will request her to at least see the baby.

Symptom wise.....my feet are still getting swollen and back hurts sooo bad...especially in mornings.....sleep has been a little interrupted lately......my bubby moves alot though.....i haven't felt him close to the rib cage but i know he is getting there :p.............Also its weired but i think he puts too much pressure on my bladder so I have to go to restroom quite often and then nothing much comes out.......last week I passed the threshold of wearing socks by myself.......DH has been appointed for that duty now...hahahaa..

The next steps in my agenda is to register for the birthing classes and Cord blood banking........is anyone else thinking about CBB?

Finally it seems I will get my baby shower.....but MIL has put a condition that it will have to be in 9th month.....so here I am planning on having one in my 38th week......hopefully bubbs will stay in and doesn't decide to join the party!!
