09-3-2010 - Baby Shower and week 36 update

My mood while writing this blog: Anxious

Hi Ladies,

Hope you all are doing well...Just an update on my baby shower...it was on Mar 6 and it went off very well....I had so much fun with my friends.......it was a sweet feeling to know that they really wanted to celebrate my baby. It was a small little get together with 8 of my friends, my sister and MIL.....

According to MIL, We will have a big 'after' baby shower...which is 40 days after baby's born....we'll invite everyone then.....but by that time I would have bought almost all the things i need...so it'll be a great party ...thats all!

I am feeling a little anxious about the next few weeks....maybe because I have nothing organized at my place.....as per the traditions from my MIL I can't get anything before the baby comes! ....so here i am 3 weeks away from getting my baby home and i have no crib, no car seat, no stroller, no clothes, no nothing.....I wish I could arrange my room with blue stuff and a cute crib with blue bedding......little onsies on the hangers....and look at all the stuff and have only positive thoughts for my little one ......awaiting his arrival.

But now I am super stressed and DH would have to run around going shopping and installing stuff when i'll be sitting home with a baby......FRUSTRATING!!!

I have a secret plan to go shop and stash all the stuff at my friend's place.....my MIL stays with us so no point even getting it home........grrrrrr........the last thing people should try to do is annoy a nine months pregnant lady!!

As per my little bubby......he's growing well.......kicking his way around my rib cage.....he has not dropped as per my last appointment.......hope he gives mommy sometime to secretly shop before initiating the whole deal!
