11-7-2009 - Insomnia!!! Just want some shut eyeMy mood while writing this blog:
Just want some shut eye

I've been suffering from this thing for a while now. My Dr said its ok for me to take Tylenol PM for sleep. It does work but i dont want to have to take it every night you know. Its so hard for me to get comfy now. I toss and turn all night! My legs will cramp, or i may have pee alot, and etc. 2moro Im buying a body pillow to see if that will help. Do any of you ladies have any suggestions on how i can get a good nights rest???

For the cramping, try eating bananas. If you don't like bananas, try to put them in a shake. For the frequent bathroom visits, I try to stop drinking after 10pm. By doing this, I only have to go once through the night, but I go alot during the day :-). I think the body pillow will help and the suggestions of taking a nice shower and making sure you eat something that will tie you over for the night. I hope some of this works for you!

A body pillow will definately help. I couldn't get to sleep at night either. I just couldn't wind down for some reason. Try cup of hot green tea and a warm bubble bath. The Johnson's Bedtime Bath works wonders on adults too.

Do you take naps during the day? If so, maybe try cutting those out. Also maybe a warm bath or shower right before bedtime might help. I don't blame you for not wanting to take tylenol pm everynight. I hope it gets better for you!
