21-1-2009 - Our Induction

My mood while writing this blog: Scared and happy

So tonight My Hubby and i go into the Hospital for my induction. I'm going to be a first time mom and I'm scared to death =(

I don't know what really to expect, because you can't really expect everything to be the same as every other mother. Every womans Birthing experience is different. I'm scared that i won't know what to do. I wish babies came with a manual lol. My Parents will not be with me to meet their Grandson, nor will i get any help from anyone, so I'm kinda on my own. My Hubby will be there, and for the next few days after he's born. I wish he could stay home more with me though. I just feel like i won't know what to do.

Maybe it's just me being crazy. Do all women feel like this when they're about to give birth??? I want to be the best mama ever to my son, and i want to be able to give him whatever he needs, and more.

Am i weird????

woman theres nohing wrong with you, thats typical for any first time moms and moms of more than one kid. i freaked myself w/my second delivery. there are books they have thats something like a manual one of those birh to teen book

you are definitely NOT weird - every woman goes through that, but the best part is that you'll surprise yourself. You will know what to do - it just comes naturally and even if you don't someone that knows is only a phone call away. Or even this website, that's what I love so much about this site there is always someone on here with great advise! I get induced tomorrow so I know how anxious and scared you are feeling!
