23-4-2009 - 1st Dr.'s visit / 1st ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

well i went on tues. for my 1st doc appt. And the nurse finally found the babies heartbeat after about 5 minutes of trying, which was nervewrecking to me. So on Wed., i went back for the 1st ultrasound and happy cuz hubby was able to leave wrk early to go w/ me. We saw the baby in there very active, and my hubby actually got emotional but managed to keep a slightly straight face!!! He then jokingly said the baby was doing "baby yoga" in there.....which i thought was funny! well so the 1st of all appts, went well, now im eager for the next 8 wks to pass by so fast so i can find out the sex of the baby!!!! Even though its our 5th baby, the inital feeling of excitement, fear, & love was instantly there........so we are soooo happy and im kinda sad to know that this is the last time i will ever experience a baby growing inside of me! to ever feel a baby kick in my womb, to ever give birth to a beautiful little angel..........but then i look at my other precious 4 and just think, that atleast i have been so fortunate and so blessed to be able to experience this at all....THANKS TO GOD!
