01-5-2008 - 37 wks

My mood while writing this blog: Blah...at work!

So week 37 is here...Glad to see it come, and i'll be happier to see it go, let's get this show started already!!

Had my check up yesterday and it was nothing special. I gained 4lbs since last week...but i haven't gained anyways weight for the past month, so i guess it all just came and once, i hope that's the last of it! My BP is still in the normal norms, 100/56, baby's heart beat was regular, his head is engaged and she said it seems pretty lodged in so she doesn't think he'll be moving back up. My fundal height now measures 41, my midwife said if she does a tight measurement i'm 40, you should of seen her trying to make me 40...lol....so either 40 or 41, which is 1 or 2 more since last week.They never recieved my u/s results last week from the lab so they don't know about my fluid levels yet.My fundal height now measures 41, my midwife said if she does a tight measurement i'm 40, you should of seen her trying to make me 40...lol....so either 40 or 41, which is 1 or 2 more since last week. Which by the way i find bad on the labs part as I'm at the end of my pregnancy and obviously when u/s are scheduled at this point its for a good reason, you would think they would take it into consideration. My midwife said she thinks i'll have him by my due date, (but only God knows that) so overall just a regular straight to the point check up. We discussed when is good to page them, and just hearing her tell me about the contractions really got my heart racing...i'm getting a bit nervous now! We also discussed taking Evening Primrose Oil, so i will be going out to buy a bottle. She said it works for some and not for others but I can go ahead and try it, she said it does the same thing sex does, (Well the semen) with helping to soften the cervix, so I'm gonna start trying it. Thats it for now!
