02-7-2008 - 6 week check up!!

So today was Zachai's 6 week check up and our last appointment with my midwives, we now move unto a family doctor for me, and a pediatrician for him. As for me, she didn't do a pap but just did a quick internal check at my request, because i've been feeling a tugging muscle feeling when i go to sit up from lying position or when i sit down sometimes, it's like a muscle in my vagina does something weird. So she said my stiches are healing well, but she notices that my vagina muscles are lax and that i should be doing more kegel (Which i haven't been, i actually haven't been doing much activiy like i should be, just walking, and i'm not doing that enough, however that changes now, gonna start doing some running and get rid of this flab of a stomach).

As for Zachai, he is doing A-OK! He is now weighing in at 13lbs 7oz!!! And is now almost 23inches! I showed her his belly button because it kinda sticks out a bit, and she said it could possibly be an umbilical hernia, and will correct itself as he grows and it should go in, if not then it takes a few stitches to tighten the hole and is a not a big deal, she said it doens't stick out that much so she thinks it will go in by itself. I hope it corrects itself, rather that than any surgery, even if it's a day surgery. His heat rash is clearing up, Miami took a toll on his skin, it's drying up though. He is growing so big, He still has 2 packs of size one pampers, and i'll probably get through one pack and have to give away the other. Thank god for my showers, i haven't had to buy a single pack of diapers since he was born, and i still have some packs for his sizes up, so i'm good! Geez, i didn't imgaine him growing so big so fast, but my breast milk is doing wonders!

Well we are both doing well, just doing a quick update.
