14-1-2009 - 37 WEEK APPT

My mood while writing this blog: FULL

HURRAY!

I went to my 37 week appointment today, and I got to see little Jake on u/s: ) We looked at his little lungs, heart, and his BIG head!!! Good new, he's head DOWN, which is great. I have been worrying that he was still sitting up, or sideways..but nope, he's good to go.

Like my frd Nhu, I too lost a little weight, but I think it's just the lack of room for food. I ate a lot today tho, so I may have gained a couple pounds today lol..

Last night we had our second birthing class. Talk about BOR-ING. Most of things the nurse goes over I already know from doing research on the internet, from asking my OB, and info I've learned just from this website! It's funny how clueless the other couples are hehe..

I have to admit I'm a bit of a know it all in class, while my hubby is the 'class clown' ..There are some WIERDOS in our class too. From the 20 something girl married to a man who could be her grandfather, to a smelly hippy couple with dreadlocks ...ah yes,we have all walks of life in there lol! Luckily we made friends with another couple. Both hubby's share the love of sports, and me and the other mommy are big yappers and ..blonde . OH and we are both having boys: D

I'm glad this week is half way over, I have been off on maternity leave for a few days now, and it's feeling great. My body really needed the rest.
