26-8-2008 - Update on Aaden Charles & his brothers

My mood while writing this blog: sleepy!

Okay so it's been awhile since I've done an update on Aaden Charles. What can I say? I'm trying to maintain multiple pages online these days.

Anyhow to the order of business. My sweet little Aaden is turning into a Big Boy on me! I mean considering he weighed 10 lbs 5 oz at birth, he's always sort of been a big boy but now he's starting to look like a toddler and not a baby anymore! I can't believe how fast his first year has gone by!

He has 8 teeth that he got when he was 6 months old and hasn't really gotten anymore since. Which is just fine with me since he is a bit of a biter if you mistakenly put flesh near his mouth! Ha Ha

Aaden weighs almost 30 lbs which just totally blows my mind! I don't know how long he is now but he's totally proportional. He's actually the first of my boys to be completely proportional. Even as a tiny baby he could wear pants and my other boys always had such short legs that it was hard to put them in pants!

He loves water! He adores bath time and swimming at the pool. He gets aggravated with me because I won't turn him loose in the pool. He seems to think that he can just take off! I hope that he remembers over the colder months how much he loves water so we don't have to start over next summer!

He cruises around furniture so fast that half the time he looks like he is running! He's still afraid to let go too much but he does from time to time. Today he took several steps without holding on but then realized what he was doing and promptly sat down and crawled away!

Aaden has the sweetest personality. I have truely been blessed with the happiest child I have ever known. Heck...he makes being a mommy nothing but pure joy! I look forward to walking into his room in the morning because I know that he'll be beaming from ear to ear and jumping up and down as soon as he sees me. I've never known anyone to get so excited to see me in the morning!

Anyhow he's doing beautifully and is an absolute treasure. I feel so thankful and blessed everyday. Not just because of Aaden but because of all 3 of my awesome boys!

Nicholas has started the 3rd grade and has decided to play Soccer this fall. He's normally my baseball player so this is a new sport for him and he's enjoying it a lot and working hard at it. Nicholas is the thinker of the family and absolutely analyzes everything! I'm super proud of him!

Mason started Kindergarten this year. It's just crazy to think that he's almost 6 years old. He is playing soccer this fall as well. His first time was in the Spring and he really loved it so we're going for round 2. He is so sensitive and shy! It's hard to believe he's even my child! haha Seriously though he's just the sweetest little boy. He makes us so proud everyday!

Okay well that's about as good as it gets here. I'll try to update more often but its hard to say with me!

Hi there, good to hear from you and read your update. Your little Aaden is such a cute one. The all grow so fast don't they. All our boys are around the same age, my oldest will turn 8 tomorrow and he started the 3rd grade yesterday, my 2nd one is 4 almost 5 he will start kindergarton next year and Dru is one, an dof course we round that all off with this little lady due to arrive in about 6 weeks or less... :o) well keep in touch and take care...~
