14-12-2009 - Jackson's doc check

~*So Jackson had his weight check today and guess what!!!! He is 8lbs 15oz!!!! So that's 16oz in 2 weeks! The doc is very happy with this and we don't have to go back til he is 2 months old!!! I'm sooo not use to one of my children gaining weight! I love it! And it makes me so happy, glad, and proud that I have stuck with breastfeeding him! Well sorry so short but I got to go feed him now and fix the kids some lunch!*~

thats awesome, I'm sooo glad he's gaining weight and everything is going well with the breastfeeding too... my concern for mine is that the dr will tell me she's gaining too much lol

Yay, that's great news! Kylie gained 14 oz when we went in she was about a week and a half, and the dr said the same thing- for us to come back when she's 2 months! Makes you feel like you're doing something right :)

so happy for you. I too was shocked when my son gained 11 oz the first week home then 13 oz the second week! I take him tomorrow for a check up and I can't wait to see how much more he has gained.
