28-12-2009 - Updates

My mood while writing this blog: WOWed!

~*Well things are going great! We had such a good christmas! It was crazy how many gifts were under our tree lol I will post pics soon! It took me all day to clean up the mess! I had to wake up at 5am to make sure the kids didnt wake up and open gifts before we were up lol they didn't get up til almost 8am hahaha! Jackson was an angel! He woke every 2-3 hours to feed and pretty much was asleep the whole day. I let the rest of the kids open his gifts! He didn't start crying til the rest of the family came over and there was 16 people here so things got pretty loud and he didn't like it one bit! Dinner was great me and mom cooked and baked the day before and the day of! Ok so now to updates I took Jackson into doctor b/c he was pooing atleast 4 times a day up until a week ago now he goes every other day and only once! But when he does go its blow out! I have never had a baby that did that but also he is my 1st to breastfeed and people told me it was normal but I wanted to make sure he was still getting enough so I took him into the doc just for a look over and guess what!!!??? ?He is now 10lbs 6oz at 6 weeks old!!!!! I have never had this big of a baby this soon! I am so beside myself that he is growing so well! The doc checked him and out said he is 100% healthy and to keep doing what I am b/c it's working! He can even go up to a week without going and it be normal as long as his poo doesn't change in looks! So he is doing GREAT! Breastfeeding is a breeze now still! I don't even think about bottles anymore matter of fact I packed them away til I'm done breastfeeding but who knows he might go from breast to shippy which would be great!!! He will not for any reason take a sassy which is alittle hard on me but we are learning how to comfort him without me putting my breast in his mouth every time he crys! Ok now to me I'm great! I get more sleep now! It's been great having hubby home for the past almost week now b/c I get to nap for about 2 hours everyday now and sleep in! He is off til the 4th then it's back to super mommy lol! I go thios wed to see about getting my iud put in not sure if they are doing it that day or not but I hope they do cause hubby is dieing to have his wife back! I'm alittle worried about getting back in bed so to say now! not because of it hurting but b/c me breastfeeding I do not want anything to do with sex what so ever! I think I have ruined my breast as sex toys forever! I'm scared that once we start having sex again (yes it's been over 6 weeks since we have "done" it) I won't feel comfortable breastfeeding anymore! And Jackson won't take a bottle at all so I would be screwed!! Anyways last time I weighed myself I was still down 26lbs It's starting to make me mad that I'm not loosing anymore! But as soon as I find time I will start my 2 mile walks every night again it's just hard to do when he eats around the clock and I'm not gonna take him out in the cold with me! Oh well I guess I have all the time in the world to loose weight but very limited time for my son to be this small since he is growing so fast! So I'm just gonna go with the flow and enjoy the ride! Oh and how do you put pics side by side on here I wanna do pics of the day I had him til today to see how much change it's been! Well that's about it I will try to have pics up very soon!*~
