22-4-2009 - Bed Rest

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Yesterday the dr told me I can no longer work and have to go on bed rest. My cervix isnt holding up. I was told I have to get steroid injections in two wks to speed up the babies lung development in case of preterm labor. She did say that I dnt have to stay in bed but need to be laying down. It will be nice to get outside and get a little sun! I havent had a chance with my work schedule. The nursery is almost done, and I had my shower end of March! I'm only allowed to stand for 15 mins a day. Its going to be a long two 1/2 mos but I just want them to be healthy!!

oh no so sorry good thing the doc is closely monitoring you listen to the doc and stay in bed thank god for those steroid shots they are awesome and save many preemies gl and keep us informed.. oh ya hope you have a laptop

Wow only 15 minutes a day! That's pretty crazy. Guess you won't be doing any baby shopping unless it's online. Healthy baby girls is the most important thin though!!
