26-5-2009 - 27wk 4 days dr appt

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

I'm happy that the babies have grown 1 lb in 3wks!!! They now are weighing 2lbs 6oz & 2lbs 7oz! The babies are two days apart and doing great! I'm happy that my cervix is staying at 3cm. I'm frustrated though bc I asked the dr if she had any idea if she would schedule a c sec date for wk 34, 35, or 36.....and she said if I keep going as good as I am that ideally she would schedule 37 1/2 wks! Dont get me wrong I want these babies healthy and to come home with me and not have to be in NICU but I'm so tired of being pregnant!! I was thinking wk 34/July 10th or I could hang on to wk 36 if I had too, but if I wait until 37wks and 1 day my dr wont deliver them anymore bc shes letting go of the ob part of her job! :( I also was looking for to being preggo free for Aug. (the hottest month) and only having 7 more weeks to go now I have 10! UGHHH! Its getting harder to roll over and do stairs bc I get out of breath! I also have more and more back pains now! ok I'm done complaining! I know I can make it but I dnt think I ever want to be pregnant again! This is no walk in the park like everyone of my friends in the past made it seem like.....this is hard and long!

let me tell ya a twin pregnancy is the hardest pregnancy (of course i havent been preggys with any more than that at one time lol) but I have been preggy 4 other times and this is the hardest most uncomfortable thing in the world that said I love to feel them moving around and kicking (even the painful ones) it will alllllllllll be worth it and when u have your next one (singleton) it will be a breeze lol

I totally agree that being pregnant is no walk in the park. However, being pregnant with my first was SSSOOO much easier than being pregnant with two. The pregnancies don't even compare. My back hurts so bad and I don't even do anything but lay around. the strain and stress of carrying two is horrendous. Just hang in there.
