27-8-2008 - 3 Hr Glucose Test Results

My mood while writing this blog: Somewhat relieved

Well I just stopped into my doctors office to pick up my disability forms for work and happened to ask them what my results were, since I hadn't received a call from them yet.

The nurse told me that everything was good, but I didn't pass with flying colors. She told me that I was right on the border of their limit. And that I didn't have anything to worry about, they weren't too concerned about it, since technically I passed. She didn't give me exact figures - she told me that the doctor will discuss my results with my at my next appointment on the 4th. So I guess you can say I am somewhat relieved to find out that I am not going to have to deal with Gestational Diabetes. Thank God for that.

Other than that, I'm feeling good. I haven't had a single episode since my glucose test... just random spurts of dizziness or feeling light-headed. But overall I'm doing good. My nesting syndrome has finally kicked in, bc I've been cleaning like a mad woman - but then I regret it later bc my back is killing me and I'm completely exhausted for the rest of the day. But I'd rather be exhausted then sick with whatever.

My next appointment is on September 4th. Until then, hope you're all doing great!!!
