25-6-2009 - induction schedulled

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

well , i never thought i'd be overdue, but now i am !!! it sucks

passed the due date the ultrasound technician estimated which is the 16th of june , and passed the official due date that my midwife set which is the 23th, somehow i thought that i'll be holding my boy before that but nope,

in the last appointment in 40 weeks and 1 day (wednesday), i was checked for the fisrt time and i wasn't dialated nor effaced , nothing at all , NADA , it was so surprised and disapointed , and the midwife said that there's nothing i can do but wait for things to happen and drink a lots of fluids , fluids !!!!!!!!!!!! anyway unless i go in labor by myself before next thursday in which i'm gonna be 41weeks and 2days , i'll have to go for induction that same thursday 07/02/2009. this puts me at 6 days time to get my boy out naturally ..

i have a bpp and an nst scheduled on tuesday 06/30/2009 and i get to see the midwife the same day and i'm gonna ask for a sweep if i was dialated enough to do it, hopefully it will start things before thursday ...

it's just frustrating and disapointing to know that your body is not doing what it's suppose to do , i was hoping to see some progress but i guess this boy wants to make it a surprise like his daddy likes to do..
