12-2-2009 - february 12 2009 update . 21 weeks and 3 days

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

i had an appointment with my ob/gyn last week , and it's the first since my ultrasound , we get to talk about the results and the stuff that i was told by the ultrasound doctor and technician , i asked my midwife about my placenta being low lying and she said that it's nothing to worry about and said that it's on the edge of my cervix and that it's not even touching it , it's just a bit too close to it , she said also that we're gonna follow that up and have another ultrasound at my 28 week. she seemed too relaxed and confident so i'm less worried and more happier than before.

i montionned what the doctor said about my due date being moved to 16th june instead of 23th, but she said that we're gonna keep the first one (23rd jun 2009) cause the ultrasound was too late in the pregnancy to be accurate , it's usually more accurate to estimate the due date before 9 weeks and after that babies grow in defferent ways and speeds ... so i have to go back to week 21 now !! too bad

my midwife is soo nice that she let me read on her computer the report that the ultrasound doctor sent her , it says that my baby boy's organs and parts all look normal and healthy , and my uterus was >3 which i don't know what it means but my midwife said it's good , and generally everything is just great . and i'm happy about that !!

today at work i had some crumping or contractions , i guess that was Braxton hicks , it was like the period's crumps but more intense i had to stop working and take a deep breath , they lasted about 3 or 4 min and then went away , after that i felt sooo exausted and out of energy , it reminded me of my first trimester LOL which was awful

my boy kicks a lot and he's definitly getting biger cause i really am too !! my husband said that our baby is gonna be a soccer player like his dad , that was nice , also i feel that everytime i put my hand or a book or anything on my belly he starts kicking and punshing it , he's like trying to say "heyy get away from me and stop puting stuff on me !!!" and it's so funny !!
