06-2-2009 - Dr appt 2/5

My mood while writing this blog: not bad

Dr appt was okay. U/S showed my cervical length to be about 2.1 cm, up from 1.7 last week. That is a little improvement. I realize the importance of the situation I am in right now, that if I do go into early preterm labor my son may not survive...however, I do not feel like we will have any problems making it to full term. I asked some of the women on this site for their opinions on the subject, mainly because I was worried that I was being naive or deluding myself into thinking that everything was going to be fine. So far, most women say it is good I am staying positive. I still don't know for sure..but it sure beats being anxious and nervous! I suppose my life could change (again) in an instant, so I should be grateful for these days I get to lay in bed, feeling Jaxon kicking and squirming in my belly! I have another appt in two weeks, so until then I will be laying around, watching tv and playing on the internet! I wish everyone good luck in their pregnancies and the ability to get enough sleep every night to feel rested! God bless.
