as many of you know i have a wonderful beautiful baby boy whose name is JO-Z (hes my shih tzu) he is my world & i love him like my own child. yesterday i left for work & he was great..he had gotten up with me & waited with me until i left..colby didn't go to work yesterday..they didnt need him..anyways..i got a text around 11am saying "i just gave JO Z a bath"..i came home from work & i noticed joz was laying on the couch..usually he gets REALLY excited to see me..but this time he was just laying there & his eyes looked really red. i immediately RAN over to him & picked him up..i noticed he was out of it pretty bad. i asked colby what happened & he said he must have gotten soap in his eyes. i didnt really think too much about it but then i noticed jo z was sleeping a LOT & his eyes were rolling in the back of his head. i took him to my moms & asked her what she thought..naturally..i took him to the vet. OH wait..before i had taken him to the vet i noticed he had a red rash all over his skin & there were quite a few abraisions down there..that really worried me but i thought he was possibly having an allergic reaction to the shampoo..? i only wish that was the case..the doctor looked at me and asked if could have possibly been hit by a car! i was like WHAT!?! NO..colby would have told me that (let me go ahead & mention colby refused to take jo z to the vet he said he was fine & it was just the shampoo..but i know my baby better than anyone..so i had my little bro go with me) anyways..colby swears he didnt get hit..but the vet continued on telling me he had severe head trauma ..so bad that his eyes were bleeding..& he had scrapes all over his little tummy. i have never been so heartbroken..i couldn't believe what i was hearing..how could my baby have gotten head trauma?!?! he stayed over night & they put him on IVs & gave him meds to help his brain from swelling. of course i went home & got NO SLEEP. i was there at 6am to get him & i had called in the middle of the night to check on my baby. they told me he wasnt doing any better but he wasnt doing any worse..i took him to my moms house @ 6am & waited for the regular vet to open (the emergency clinic told me i needed to take him because they still could not get his eyes to dialate) they again told me the same thing. both of them think all the injuries match up exactly to a car hitting joz..i am DEVISTATED & HEARTBROKEN!!!!!! jo z is such a little dog & he relys on me to take care of him..to protect him..i left him at home WITH someone for ONE day & this is what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now colby SWEARS he didn't see anything happen & this is really easy for me to believe because he has always been good to the animals..not EXTRA sweet like me but then again i consider jo z my CHILD. i just dont know what to believe..how could colby have not noticed?!?! he was with him ALL day long..i mean i just dont know how to feel..i asked the vet if it was possible that colby could have done this to him..they said everything is possible but he would have had to take jo z outside & drag him on the concrete which I SWEAR IF I FOUND OUT HE DID THAT I WOULD GO INSANE & I CANT EVEN SAY WHAT I WOULD DO..but i really dont think colby would ever do that..but then again WHY WOULDNT HE GO TO THE VET WITH ME?!?! i mean my DAD paid the bill for jo z its not like it was coming out of my pocket (even if it was i would pay 398430289028$ to save his life) i just dont know what to do..he is all that has been on my mind. i just want him to be in my arms to i can hold him & promise him nothing like this will ever happen again but how can i prevent it if i dont know what caused it? our neighborhood is SO vacant that i dont even see joz being hit by a car possible..i just dont know what to do..what to believe..i wish joz could tell me because i would literally REALLY HURT someone over my baby!!!! & the thought of anyone laying a finger on him REALLY HURTS me because he is SO sweet & would never hurt a fly...anyways..he may be able to come home @ 5 today..im at work waiting to hear from them..PLEASE KEEP JOZ IN YOUR PRAYERS!!!!!!!! I LOVE HIM SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! he always loves me no matter what i do you know? thats why hes soo special :(

oh my goodness, i just read this and that is so sad. i also have a "baby" her name is leelu, and she is a shitzu/poodle mix... shes my WORLD... i dunno how im going to love anything more then i love that dog (even when my daughter comes, i don't want to stop giving leelu attention)its going to be hard. but i cant believe someone did that to your dog. i would totally go apeshit if ANYONE touched my baby girl. i hope your dog is going better :(

Is this the boyfriend who hurt your dog? I don't want to butt in but hurting animals is serious. I have a family friend who's boyfriend killed her 2 year old son by throwing him down. His temper just got out of control. Of course he didn't mean to kill the baby but he did and now he's in jail for the next 20 years. Please, please, please be careful.

awwww pooor doggy :( thats really sad, i had a similar situatuion with a pet where they told me wasnt getting better or worse and had to stay over it was horrible. poor doggy though, thats a real tough one about how it happened. i dont no your boyfriend, but i find it hard to believe a man whos about to raise a child would do that to a doggy. have u tried asking him, i really hope your doggy gets better, and that it wasnt your bf who did the damange gooodluck xxx

I am so sorry about your puppy. It is obvious that "someone" is lying. Why would he hide somehting like that from you? Oh, that poor baby! I feel just awful for you. I hope he pulls through!
