18-8-2009 - Contractions

My mood while writing this blog: Nervous

Yesterday afternoon I starting having some cramping that wouldn't go away so the Dr sent me to the hospital for evaluation. I was having some small contractions and they gave me meds to stop them which worked. They checked my cervix and it is completely closed still. So no worries there. I have to take a pill every 6 hours to make sure they don't start back up. I am getting ready to go to the doctor and see what they say and what they want me to do. I'll keep everyone posted once I get back.

Eeek...I'm sorry you had to have this happen to you, but hopefully the medicine will make sure they don't return. I was put on bed rest, which was boring, but helped a lot with the contractions. Just get a lot of rest and don't over work yourself. Keep us all updated and take care of yourself and the little one!!

Most likely they will put you on bedrest or you are going to be very limited on the daily duties you do... You will be fine and so will baby...Let me know what they say...Good Luck!
