So, I am back on bedrest again. I started having contractions yesterday at 8 a.m. and by 9 they were 3 to 5 mins a part and really strong. We went to the Labor and Delivery and they were able to get them stopped around 12:30. They gave me fluids but said that I wasnt dehydrated and that all my blood work came back normal. The good news is that my cervix is not dilated or effaced. YEAH! All night I had crampy feeling but no contractions.
Then this morning I started having contractions about every 15 to 20 mins again. I called my Dr and they got me in. My blood pressure was high and they said that they were putting me back on bedrest. Because I am taking the meds to stop my contractions every 4 hours, they want me to try resting and see if that will stop them. So, if they get any worse I am go to straight back to labor and delivery. I go back tomorrow to have my blood pressure checked again, along with my urine just to make sure nothing changes.
So, we are hoping for at least 2 more weeks before she decides to make her apperance.

good luck!! I have been having contractions also and am 20% efaced and dialated to a one as of a week ago but they arnt worried about stopping anything yet he said if I make it to 35 weeks that will be fine and he wont try and stop anything so i have an appointment on monday and we will see but i feel like his head is literally just barely sitting on my pubic bone about ready to fall out!!! my first was overdue so i would not mind one bit if this one is early!! good luck to you hope that everything works out great for you and your family!!!

good luck!!! I hope everything works out....you've made it pretty far though and the risks at this point are minimal so that is a def plus!
