| 10-8-2009 - Pray that he says "YES" |
My mood while writing this blog: anxious |
I just purchased an adoption kit from the government for 15 dollars (weird because I am sure that they told me it was 200 dollars before, I wish I would have known earlier) but if we need help filling it out it will cost us up to 3000.00 to hire a lawyer for this particular issue, hopefully it won't come to that though. Problem is that I need to ask her biological dad to give up his rights to Rena so that we can do this. I have a feeling he might say no in spite of me. He has never done anything that was best for her, everything he has ever done or said was aimed to make me unhappy or angry. If I wanted him to see her (like I did in the beginning) then he didn't want to, if I didn't want him to see her (like I do now) then it seemed like he wanted to see her more but that faded down to only once a year now. If he says no just to make it that much harder for my husband to adopt her, it will break all of our hearts because Rena wants this just as bad as me and my husband. Please pray that for once he will do something that is best for her. It scares me that he will know he has the control to make this happen or not...I don't want him to take advantage of this as a way to get back at me...I want him to let us go and forget us, let us be happy.

Tuesday, 11 Aug I Am Sort Of Going Through The Same Situation But My 9 Yr Old And 7 Yr Olds Father Passed Away. I Found The Forms Here Online And Didn't Have To Pay A Thing. It Did Cost $20 Per Child To File At The Courthouse. Good Luck To You!! fruitful -
Tuesday, 11 Aug Maybe if he knows how much it would mean to Rena (omit your feelings), he might say yes, I am hoping.
