13-8-2009 - Week 36 Prenatal Update

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well I gained 7.5 lbs since my appt 2 weeks ago, a total of 8.5 lbs in one month cause I only gained 1 lb at my last 2 week appt. I am now 208.5 lbs. My baby is backwards currently head is still by my ribs, which explains why I feel all his little movements middle of my stomach and the bottom of my belly. Doc says hopefully he will be turned around by next weeks appt.

Still he wouldn't give me an estimate of the size of my baby :( oh well. He talked about going to the hospital when its time...he said if I lose my mucus plug, don't do anything it doesn't mean anything really, which was weird because my last pregnancy I lost my mucus plug while I was having contractions. He said if I start to leak water to call him and let him know...and because the 3rd baby usually comes pretty quickly if I am having contractions just go straight in to prevent the baby being born on the way the way to the hospital, especially since I had a 10lb baby last time and it was a quick labor last time too.

He gave me prenatal papers that I need to bring to each appt and to the hospital when its time to go. Everywhere I go people keep asking me if I am due any day...and of course when I say no in 4 weeks, they say well by the looks of your belly the baby may come sooner...but thing is James was 10.7 pounds and he was 3 days late. I am expecting that I will be full term and if anything maybe a week early but I don't think I will be any earlier than that.
