27-8-2009 - 38 Week Update.

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Well I had my 38 week appt which is my last one. I am scheduled for a c-section on Sept 2 at 11am (unless there are cancellations then it will be earlier). I will get to bring my kids to their first day of school that morning which I am very happy about because James is starting kindergarden this year and I never miss the 1st day of school ever I have always taken the morning off to take my daughter to school and the same will go for James. I have to get blood work done within 72 hours of the c-section so the doctor told me to go on the Monday before.

My stomach measurement at my final appt is 42 inches, there was student who did the measurment and when she seen how big my stomach was she was like whoa I hope there is enough tape to measure you lol. I took her a few minutes to check my blood pressure though lol. The doctor showed her where the head was by my ribs and got her to get ahold of it and move it a bit from the outside of my stomach.

I filled out my paperwork for the c-section after I was done and now I just sit and wait because he also said there is a possiblity that the baby could come early so to watch out for any leaking fluid and contractions, if this happens to go straight to the hospital.
