18-9-2009 - Thank God!

My mood while writing this blog: Relieved

OMG my mom was coming over to visit me today and take me grocery shopping because my husband is working out of town again...she walked in the door and she was shaking and I can't remember what she said originally but basically she was shaking because she almost lost her life today but thank god she didn't. She was driving and was coming up to the lights and even though it was a green light the vehicle next to her had slammed on his brakes and instictively she did too and lucky thing she did because she was inches away from a driver that was full speed ahead...running a red light! my mom said the driver would have hit her and at the speed he was travelling there would have been no chance she said if the driver next to her hadn't put on his brakes she wouldn't have stopped...my grandma has passed away last summer and so when she realized what almost happened she said "Thanks mom" and I really think my grandma was watching over and I am so thankful, I don't know what I would have done without her...you never know when someone you care about could be gone just like that...cherish every moment!
