02-10-2009 - 36 weeks!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Happy Friday, ladies! I can't believe this pregnancy journey is almost over! It's becoming soooo very real for me now and I'm starting to freak out, lol. My 36 week appointment was on Tuesday and I'm dilated 1 cm, 70% effaced, and baby is at -2. My weight gain seems to have plateaued as it's been the same the past 2 appointments. Total gain is 24 pounds so far. Feels like a whole lot more, lol. I think I've been having BH contractions...I'm still not sure what they feel like. I have a feeling I'm not gonna know I'm in labor until my water breaks, lol. That's how my mama was with my sister. I've been doing lots of walking at work to try to get baby moving down...and just for the exercise. I'm very afraid I'm just gonna blow it in the last few weeks and balloon up. I'm trying very hard to avoid that. Nothing else really going on. It's been a pretty quiet two weeks. The hubby might have to have surgery on his back. Ugggh, I'm hoping if he does they can at least wait until baby comes. I'd hate for him to miss the baby being born. Tomorrow we're going down to Hollywood to go to Dave & Buster's for my birthday! I'm super excited, hoping the 1.5 hour drive doesn't get to me. Anyhoo, that's about it, ladies! I hope you're all feeling wonderful and doing well! I didn't get to take one of my normal belly pictures today. Frankly, I forgot it was Friday, lol. But I did get two different pictures. I'm being goofy and trying to be sexy in one of them. My belly is LARGE and in CHARGE, lmao. BUT I'm posting another picture of me from the back...you can't even tell I'm pregnant from the back! WOO HOO! LOL, have a good weekend, ladies.
