| 05-2-2009 - Oh My Goodness | My mood while writing this blog:Relieved |
Ok, well I'm going to make this short, cause I have a killer headache.
This morning when my husband gave me a kiss goodbye before he left to work, at 7 a.m. I got up to go to the restroom. You know how it is, first thing in the morning you need to go take a pee. Well when I sat down I felt as if my pee was really thick and then I look down at my panties and there was a huge spot of blood. I was mortified. I wiped and the tp was full of bright red blood. I wiped again and less blood but still there. So I stood up and looked into the toilet and there at the bottom of the toilet was a dark clot. I freaked. I ran outside in my nightgown yelling at my husband that I was bleeding. I wasn't crying, but totally freaking out. Couldn't stop shaking. He ran inside with me and I showed him my underwear and the toilet. He asked me to wipe again and then there was practically no blood. Just a light pink show. Then my husband started asking the important questions that I had to ask myself. If I was cramping, no. Did it hurt when I pee'd, no. And if I was still bleeding bright red, no. We fished out the clot to get a good look at it and it was just a silver dollar size clot that was thin. So my husband told he, that he was pretty sure I wasn't anything really bad. That he was going to go to work and for me to go the my doctor as soon as they open. Which I agreed that it would be best to do that and if anything got worse I would call him a.s.a.p. and head to the E.R. Well my doctor's office didn't open until 9 and those two hours seemed like 10 years. I just wanted to know what the hell was going on with my body. Well half an hour after that all happened the bleeding completely stopped. No pink show nothing. So I took a shower got dressed put on a pad and got my boys ready. Right at 9 I walked into my doctor's office and told the nurses what was going on and they had me in a room in 10 mins. A family friend came to watch my boys at the office while this was all going on. I don't really know anybody out here and as soon as she heard what was going on with my she got out of one of her nursing classes and came to help me right away. God bless her for being such a wonderful woman.
Ok well anyways. My urine was clear when I gave them a sample in the doctor's office but the nurse said it still had a very small trace of blood in it. Then the my doctor came in asked me what was going on and said he has high hopes and was going to check my cervix and then send me to the hospital to do an ultrasound. When he was checking me he said everything looked clean in there and that nothing more came out, aside frome my clot in the morning, and he said my cervix was still closed. He then told me that he is pretty sure that everything is fine and that I will carry the baby just fine, that my body just didn't want that blood in me and just had to get rid of it. So then it was off to get the ultrasound done. So by this time I was feeling very reasurred and then the ultrasound technician told me some beautiful words that I was just waiting to hear, " Well sweetie there definitely is a baby and heart beat. All where it needs to be." I started balling. I was soo happy and soo relieved. All I wanted to know was that my baby was ok. And sure enough my little mexican jumping bean was fine. My loving moved around a little but just little twitches. So there you have it. Not exactly short but my story. I now have a really bad headache. I think it is due to being so worried all morning long.
Thanks for taking your time to read. Love you all.
