About the mommy.
Name: Cynthia
Age: 24
Is this the first child?: Nope, this will be my third.
About the daddy.
Name: Ruben
Age: 30
Is this the first child?: Nope, this will also be his third.
Finding out.
What day did you find out you were pregnant?: Tuesday, December 30th, 2009
How did you feel when you found out?: Super excited and scared at the same time. I had just had a miscarriage a month before.
Who was with you?: It was Daddy, Rey, Jr, and myself.
How did the daddy react?: He laughed. He was suprised we got pregnant so soon after the miscarriage.
Telling the grandparents.
How did you parents react?: My mom kinda cried, my parents were both very excited.
How did his parents react?: Hey were happy, just a little worried.
How often do they call to check on you?: I talk to my Mom nearly every day, and we talk to his parents around once a month.
About the pregnancy.
When is your due date?: September 5, 2009
How far along are you right now?: 9 weeks 6 days
Have you had an ultra sound?: I have had 2. Very precious moments.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: No, not yet. But I did see the heart beating away very healthy.
Sex of the baby.
What do you want. Boy or Girl?: I would be completely happy with either.
Do you know what you are having now?: Nope, still too early to find out.
Are you happy with what you are having?: N/A
About the birth.
Who is going to be with you?: Daddy will be with me. It has always been him and only him.
Are you going to video tape it?: I'm hoping so. Somehow Jr.'s tape of his birth went missing at my in-laws house.
Natural or medicated?: Medicated, it will be a planned c-section.
Do you think you will have a c-section?: Yup, yup. Definitely a planned c-section.
Do you think you will cry when you first hold your baby?: Maybe a little. I don't know, I never really had before.
Do you know what you will say to the baby when you first hold it?: Hi my Love. I love you.
Are you scared about the labor?: Nope. Mostly likely wont go through any labor.
Names.
Do you have a name picked out?: We have a few. They will be fine tuned when we find out what we are having.
Is your baby going to be named after anyone?: Yes. We plan on having all of our kids named after a family member who has had a major impact on our lives.
Did the daddy help pick the name?: But of course. It's his baby also.
Other random questions.
Where was your baby concieved?: Most likely at home.
Have you felt the baby move?: Not yet. Still very early.
What was your first symptom?: Major nausea.
Will you have godparents?: Yes we will.
Who will be the god mommy?: Still don't know who.
Who will be the god daddy?: Still don't know who.
What is the babys room theme?: I still have no clue. Wont know till we find out what we will be having.
Are you ready to be a mommy?: I don't think anybody is ever "ready". Every child is different and being a Mom is a learning experience.
What do you think the baby will be a "daddys girl/boy" or a "mommys girl/boy"?: We'll just have to wait and see.
