| 26-2-2009 - I Feel So Terrible! | My mood while writing this blog:Exhausted |
So like my blog title I feel incredibly terrible. I haven't been able to really get on and answer back to any of my comments or messages. My husband has fallen ill with a terrible viruse that is going through town and I'm trying to take care of him but stay healthy at the same time. I have never seen him so sick and I feel like there is nothing I can do. The first three days I babied him and tended to his every need. But now he isn't wanting to eat (which I'm not all concerned about) or drink (really concerned about). So I have kinda been a bitch forcing him to drink his water and Gatorade. I also pushed him to the doctor today and got him on some antibiotics and cough med. I had also sent him to sleep on the couch the first night as a joke but he has been ridden to the couch since then. I finally forced him to sleep in the room and I disinfected the couch and going to stay out in the living room until it passes. I have never been so exhausted from taking care of someone. Its even easier taking care of my boys when they get sick. So anyways, I'm well, a lil soar throat nothing major, and my boys are well. Its just my husband. The doctor said it seems to be affecting men between 25-35 the most. He had never had so many men in his office like this past week. So...yeah.
Anyways the reason I am posting a blog is to tell you all about a dream I had. And a piece of advice I have for all the new Mommies to be who are planning on breastfeeding. One disadvantage that me and 4 of my girlfriends have all agreed on when it comes to breastfeeding is waking up in the middle of the night drenched with breastmilk. I can't tell you how many time my husband woke up asking if I or the baby peed the bed. Nope it was my tittys. So to help and save your mattress get something to go underneath your sheets. We came upon the conversation yesterday at dinner ( I took an hour break to get the boys and me out of the house) and I was telling the girls about a dream where I had already had my baby at home and was holding him/her in my arms (couldn't tell the sex). I was starting to breastfeed my dear little one and next thing I know my boob was squirting out milk like a faucet practically drowing my poor little one. I started calling out for my husband asking him to turn me off. It was sooooo weird! My breast have been soar ever since. So there you have it.
Oh Nooooo!!! My husband is calling me. Time to rewet his wash cloth and rub his head. Can't I ever get more than 10 mins to myself when the boys are sleeping? He's lucky I love him soo damn much and enjoy taking care of him. That buttmunch.
Oh yeah!!! Thank you soo much to all the women who have left a comment on my last blog about my baby names pools. I appreciate all of your inputs and will get back to you tomorrow. Hopefully. Maybe I'll get a break when my youngest and husband are napping.
LOVE YOU ALL!!!
