| 28-4-2009 - Waiting for Tomorrow | My mood while writing this blog:Stuffy |
Well lets start things off with my cousin and her health. She has been undergoing chemo to battle the leukemia. They finally sent her home on Sunday so that she can get treated there. She was having a really hard time in the hospital so they are hoping that with her being at home with her baby she will start to want to do more things for herself instead of being drugged up all day. Only thing is, that she has state insurance, and they wont cover the chemo medication unless she is in the hospital, so the pharmacy wants to charge $5,000 for the chemo. So depending on what the insurance says today she just might end up going back to the hospital tonight or tomorrow. Its a waiting game again. But she has been doing well, only thing is from what I hear she still wont do anything for herself. She wont let my aunt leave her side and wont even try to clean herself, brush her own hair or anything. And she is becoming very dependent on her pain and anxiety medicine.
Now about ME!!!!!
I've been well. Had a bit of a tiff with my husband who acted like a total ass to me on Sunday so I'm working through that with him. I haven't really felt the baby move. I think I might feel a little flutter but when I get still to see if it was that I don't feel anything anymore. But tomorrow I have the big ultrasound and will hopefully find out what we will be having. This will be the first time we find out before the birthday, but us living soo far away from family and the only store in our town is Walmart, I thought it would be best and easier to find out ahead of time. I have a bunch more I would love to write about, but I have to go and get my eldest ready for school and put my youngest down for a nap. After my ultrasound tomorrow I will definitely be updating you all on my news.
So many happy thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
Love Always,
Mrs. Leyva
