07-5-2009 - Ready to Hit the Road

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

I'm only 5 months and 3 weeks preggo, but I wont be returning back to Phoenix after this trip so my Mom decided to throw it for me this weekend. Shoot I don't mind at all. I've never had a baby shower before, due to the fact that we waited to find out the gender of our two boys till their birth day, and I have always wanted one. I've had welcome home parties a month after my boys were born but I think its just not the same as a baby shower. So I'm super de duper excited about that.

I kinda dislike the 12 hour drive to get to Phoenix, but its always worth it. One huge thing I'm dreading about our mini vaca is that its already 105 degrees in Phoenix. Here were I live its barely in the mid 60's. I'm going to die of heat exhaustion. Thank gosh a few of my cousin's have already invited us over for BBQ's/pool parties. We have soo much to get done while we are down there, as always, but none the less we are hoping for a nice and fun vaca (unlike last time when we saw my mother-in-law's living conditions).
